Taking photos

How do I get photos that line up?

Stand where your first photo was taken and match the outline on screen. A few habits make it easier:

A photo says it doesn't line up well. What can I do?

Open the photo in the viewer and adjust its alignment by hand. If it still looks off, retaking it is usually the quickest fix. Photos that don't line up well are left out of timelapses so the body doesn't jump between frames.

Why isn't every photo in my timelapse?

Photos that don't line up well are left out automatically. When you export a timelapse, the first step shows every photo: tap one to add it back or take it out.

Can I import photos I already have?

Yes. Import them from your photo library and Lineup will align them to your other photos.

Measurements and Apple Health

My Health data isn't showing up.

Check that Lineup is allowed to read it. In the Health app, tap your profile, then Apps, then Lineup, and turn on the categories you want, such as weight and workouts. Lineup reads from Health and never writes to it.

Why did Lineup question a measurement I entered?

Lineup flags entries that look like typos, such as a big jump in a single day or a change smaller than a tape can measure. You can keep the entry if it's right.

Can I switch between kg and lb, or cm and inches?

Yes, in Settings under Units. Your data doesn't change, only how it's shown.

Lineup Pro

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Lineup, go to Settings and tap Restore in the Account card. Your subscription usually comes back on its own.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. In Lineup, open Settings and tap Manage subscription, or go to the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least a day before your renewal date to avoid being charged.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

How do I move my photos to a new iPhone?

If you restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup, Lineup comes with it. You can also make a backup file yourself: go to Settings, then Backup & restore, and tap Back up. Save the file to Files or iCloud Drive, then choose Restore on your new phone.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Your photos and measurements stay on your iPhone. There's no Lineup account and nothing is uploaded to us. See the privacy policy for details.

Can I lock the app?

Yes. In Settings under Privacy, turn on Require Face ID.
