LineupPrivacy Policy
The short version
- Your photos, measurements and notes are stored on your iPhone. We never upload them and we can't see them.
- There's no Lineup account. We don't collect your name or email to use the app.
- Apple Health data is read only, stays on your device, and is never used for advertising.
- We don't show ads, track you across apps, or sell any data.
This policy explains what Lineup: Body Progress (“Lineup”, “we”, “us”) does with information when you use the iPhone app and this website.
Information that stays on your device
Everything you create in Lineup is stored locally in the app on your iPhone:
- Progress photos you take with the camera or import from your photo library, along with how each one is aligned.
- Measurements and logs such as weight, body fat, tape measurements, workouts and notes.
- Projects and settings, including reminders and display preferences.
This information is not sent to us or to any server we run. If your iPhone is set to back up to iCloud or to a computer, Apple may include the app's data in those device backups, under Apple's own terms.
Camera, photos and Face ID
- Camera is used to take progress photos. Photos are processed on your device to guide your pose and align each shot.
- Photo library access is used only when you choose to import photos, or to save an export you made.
- Face ID is used only if you turn on the app lock. It's handled entirely by iOS. Lineup never receives your face data.
Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, Lineup reads your weight, body fat percentage, waist circumference, active energy and workouts to show them alongside your photos and to calculate your insights.
- Lineup only reads from Health. It never writes to it.
- Health data stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Health data is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, and is never sold.
You can change or stop sharing at any time in the Health app: tap your profile, then Apps, then Lineup.
Subscriptions
Lineup Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple processes your payment, and we never see your card details or Apple ID.
To know whether you have an active subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous identifier created by the app, your purchase and subscription history from Apple, and basic technical details such as your app version, device type and country. It does not receive your photos, measurements or Health data.
Backups and exports
- Backups are only created when you ask. You choose where the file goes, such as Files or AirDrop, and we never receive it.
- Exports are images and videos you make to share. They're saved or shared only where you choose. Free exports carry a small “Made with Lineup” credit.
Analytics and advertising
Lineup has no advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell or rent any information.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.
Deleting your data
You can delete photos, entries and projects inside the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone. Because we don't hold copies of your content, there's nothing on our side to delete. For anything related to subscription records, contact us and we'll help.
Children
Lineup is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how your information is handled, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
